Job Description:
Job Summary: Candidate must have experience working as an outside sales representative for an integrator/Domestic Freight Forwarder/LTL Common Carrier and be able to effectively sell various domestic services; common carrier LTL, volume LTL, FTL, airfreight, hotshot, intermodal, white glove, local cartage (Chicago area).
Challenging and potentially financially rewarding career position for sales executive with a Chicago based transportation/logistics/freight forwarding company. You will be responsible for new business development and all aspects of business retention once business is secured.

• Must have outside sales experience in the freight transportation industry
• Extensive portfolio of current client relationships a must, book of business a plus.

Disbursements:
• Base Salary, paid weekly. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
• $700.00 Monthly car allowance
• Medical and Dental benefits available.
• $100 monthly cell phone allowance
• Company approved entertainment expenses, reimbursed monthly
• Commission structure very generous // Non-capped commission structure, paid monthly. Employee is eligible for commission in any given month where his/her profit dollars cover his/her costs to the company. Individuals monthly cost to the company is determined and shared once salary level has been agreed upon and medical benefits elections have been selected.
• Paid Holidays
• Vacation eligible after first year
• Sales representative are expected to make outside sales calls four days per week, with one day allowed for an office day in which administrative duties are attended to.
